No flames, but try putting that ingenuity into an American piece of iron and seeing what you can come up with. There are a lot of American V-6's that would work nicely. The Chevy 3.8L V-6 would not even need to be turbod, for example. I'd rather put an old aluminum Buick V-8 in before I stuck a Volvo engine in it. Or be novel. Find an old aluminum Slant Six with Hyper Pack. Ask yourself this...you'll get frowns from purists who think the old flatheads, etc., should be left in the old trucks. How thick is your skin to taunts when you lift the hood to show off your Volvo?
