I was planning on replacing the rag joint. The truck has 10.50 X 31 tires which are slightly oversized but not enough to cause problems. I know that the Chevs tend to crack the frame around the steering box and I will be checking that especially since my wife tends crank on the steering wheel with out the truck moving while turning around in the drive way. I have asked her to stop many times but she really has not caught on. I often see the tire spin marks in the gravel. I mostly solved it by parking my son's truck in her turnaround spot so she has to back out of the drive way.
