Wc58 Commandcar, Brake Cylinders HELP!!!!!

hello,, i just replaced newer wheel cylinders(old resto project, look new, but leaked) with new ones,, and they are Bleeding out still from behind the rubber caps, i alligned the shoe into the slot for equal pressure,, what's the deal,, any help,, before i light a match to this thing?? tring to get it ready for the parade tomorrow, and seams more parts are coming off then on..... please HELP<<<
