Bruce in Sechelt started quite a discussion when he posted that with taxes and shipping it cost him $60 to get hinge pins across the border.
Mentioning the border brought up the topic of minute-men. I thought I should let you know that in Western Canada, where Bruce and I live. (British Columbia) we don't need minute-men because we have GRIZZLY BEARS!! They patrol the borders and deal with illegal aliens. You never hear of people sneaking into Canada because the grizzly bears get them and they don't live long enough to complain to anybody. It works out really well for the Grizzly bears too because they get to taste food from different countries.
If you come to B.C. it is great 4x4 country. We have more bush and stuff here than anybody could use but you have to be careful of the bears. If you are travelling in bear country it is smart to wear a red hunters cap and carry bear spray. You can tell what kind of bears are around by looking at their droppings. Black bear droppings contain berries and maybe bits of squirrel fur. Grizzly bear droppings are much larger and contain red hats and bear spray cannisters!
