I would try a business that sells commercial liners for water gardens. The rubber liner in mine is .125" and is rubber, not plastic. They make a repair kit, even works under water by a chemical process. You clean the area of tear/leak with the supplied cleaner/prep, then apply the chemical adheasive. to a patch which is applied to the bad area. I would think this may work well for your boot. If my boot was ripped and I could not find a replacement, I would try this method. Keep in miond, your looking for a place that does heavy duty commercial water gardens, not Wal*mart ponds.
