Pulled the rear axle housing and both springs in preparation for the new design suspension. I love working with new parts; The shackles/pins were new 2003/2004 and installed with generous never seize and maintained with proper Lubrication. Pulled the spring pin retention bolts, a few cranks with a bolt thru a socket threaded into the grease fitting and they popped right out. Started at 9:45am and was done at 11:40 am.
I will also address the issue of the excess lash when turning the Pinion yoke. It is not
pinion/ring gear lash, I proved that this morning.
Once the new rear suspension is installed, I will pull the front suspension and have new designed/built.
