For small parts, I'd use a cabinet. It's a drag to get all dolled up to use a pressure pot or suction unit outdoors just to do a hanger or something. I use a cabinet run by a 3hp compressor. It loses pressure immediately. I can still do things but I wait a lot for pressure to build up again. You need as much compressor as you can afford. You also want to make sure your media is completely dry to prevent frustration. I use aluminum oxide in my cabinet and Black Beauty in my pressure pot or suction feed. Currently, with my small compressor I find the suction feed to be more convenient. If you are doing very small items, maybe a tumbler would work better.
