My vote goes to the gasket for the fuel tank sending unit - the old style with only a float on an arm. The reason I pose this question is that I tried to find one of those little rascals with absolutely no luck. Just think, they are the same for Power Wagons, Volkswagens, Studebakers, Chevys, Fords, Henry J's, Willys. And they are the same for cars, pickup trucks, farm trucks and semi tractors. That little circle of cork with the hole in the center has got to be the most common part in the vehicle world before the 70's. NAPA, CarQuest, Auto Zone and Checker not only couldn't find one in their systems, they couldn't even order one. I finally bought a roll of cork and made my own - I shoulda' done that first, but I thought it would be real easy to find (HA!!). I bet VPW has several crates of them, now that I think about it!
