dodge used to use a letter designation to indicate whether it was 2 or 4 wheel drive, "W" meaning 4 wheel drive, and "D" meaning 2-wheel drive. GM uses "C" to indicate 2 wheel drive and "K" to indicate 4 wheel drive.
