What are the dimensions of your tank. It looks to be about 4'X 8' X 12'? What will be its capacity and weight when you finish? How much water/minute will you be able to provide? Will it have water cannons or will it simply be used as a tanker to supply smaller brush trucks.
Remember to get FS "Approved" tires (I remember your last truck). I saw what you did to the frame where you cut it off. Are you going to have a "Push" block where a CAT can come behind you and push you free? What about the front and rear, any reinforced tow points? Again thinking about getting it unstuck. I have been on a few fires for the FS in my younger years and I know it is not too difficult to get stuck even on the roads. Your going to have a lot of weight and road edges can get soft.
What are you doing for an air intake as dust and ash can be a real problem? I can remember it being many inches thick on the roads during the Mitchel Crk fire (early 70s) north of Lk Chelan. I ended up replacing mine several times in one day as it totally plugged up.
