Gil, Texas is one of the few states that allows us to drive and display restored military vehicles without having to display stamped metal license plates that would detract from their authentic appearance. We also are not required to have annual vehicle safety inspections or insurance.
I'd say states that have "Bureaucratic BS" are the ones that make you attach license plates to a restored military vehicle, often also requiring a window sticker, inspections and insurance. I, and most of my fellow Texas military vehicle restorers feel we are fortunate to have this arrangement.
I know you and I have exchanged e-mails in the past. I don't recall that you are a Texas military vehicle restorer. Where are you located? What restored military vehicles to you own and display?
It has been several years but I never had the impression that you were a petulant child. What has happened to make you so hostile to the way we do it here?
