Hey Matt! Not agitated here, just amused at how some thought processes work....
As for the BIG ONE, there will be no advanced warning when we have our 8.0 quake, so 14 million will not have an advanced chance to evacuate. Even if we did, there are only a handful of routes out of the LA Basin, 5 major freeways (you can forget that!) and a handfull of country/mountain roads that feed right back into those freeways. About 1500 folks with helicopters will make it, the rest of us will be one huge Donner Party....we'll need 20 days of food and water, and 21 days of ammo.....Three of the major routes go right across the San Andreas Fault line, so that leave two routes, I bet FEMA hasn't a plan for that either....= )
