The media hypes and some eat the hysteria up, the sky is falling everyday if you look in the right or wrong place. Everybody that wanted to get out, got out, or were just not competent to get out.
You're still not grasping the fact that New Orleans officials and LA State officials are the ones that did not cooperate, that is why the coordination failed. Once the head of FEMA was changed (who do you think did that, by the way?) the efforts went smoother. Must be nice to be perfect from your arm chair on Monday morning, but that is not the way the world works, people learn from their mistakes and practice makes us better. Are you down there volunteering or sitting safely at your computer complaining? If you don't like the results get down there and help. Folks from this board are there now.
