AB Linn sells the spider gear kits on ebay for $15 bucks. Bob Stahl sells bronze side gear thrust washers for $10 each. The gears last a long time, but the thrust washers don't. The side gear thrust are made of bakelite (1st generation plastic) so they don't tend to last a real long time. If you do decide to pull the pumpkin, check for side gear play by turning the side gears. You will be able to notice any play. If you do, have a kit put in. Just seems to be a lot of play in a short period of time that could be cause from several things. Have it checked
