I have to agree with most of your article. We donated to the humane society for saving the animals- sounds mean but screw the people- they are the ones that caused the situation as described. We have ruined the natural environemnt which absorbs a lot of the storm. and not modeled our levees like the ones in the Netherlands-whaich are far superior. I hope taht when they do come to rebuild that place its done with at least a little regard for the environment and some sense of good civil engineering. BTW lets not forget the incompetent governor of Louisiana.
