The guy in England with the grey WC 53 with the PW front on it, Mike Hitchen, says he has an original WW2 photo of a WC 53 with a winch on it somewhere.
I don't think any of them got winches on the production line, but I don't think it would take long for a user to figure out how useful it would be and just weld one on from a wrecked winch truck.
