I just spent quite a few hours removing two broken manifold studs from the block. Those babies were frozen in there. I had to drill the stud out and clead the threads out. I did a pretty good job of retapping the hole out but I am worried that the threads are a little loose or bigger. Would it be a bad idea to put a little jp weld on the stud to strenthen the threads or will this lead to problems down the road. I also have the block painted and sized for pistons. Cant wait to get them in. The crank is in. My wife thinks that I am a garrage trol. As soon as I get home from work I head down to the shop. Thankyou to all that has given me advise. I would like to post pictures of the process but not sure on the procedure.
