Thanks Paul! Great minds think alike; I have pondered just a method. Krylon makes a paint called Fusion that has solvents to get it to stick to plastics. Actually bonds to it. That should reduce scratching, since painting the inside of the lens (at least my Signal Stats) isn't possible due to the ribs on that side.
