I wish the old Firestone 900X16 SAT's were still available, but think that the Power King Super Traction will do almost as well for me and probably wear better on the road. My tire guy (son of my old tire guy) had problems pinning down what tread pattern he could get on Power King - I've seen the directional with fairly deep outer lugs, but have also seen NDTs from Power King (I think).
A forum or 2 or 3+ ago someone posted regarding availability of Power King 900X16s. I checked back in the archives, but couldn't find the post, and don't want to have 4 new tires arrive from his dist. and find they're not what I expected. Could someone please educate this old fool, so I can explain it to the late 40's kid who'll be ordering these. Also, his Dad knew exactly, but when I tried to explain the wider and heavier flap I'd always used with 900s, he said that he wasn't familiar with them - VPW @ $36- X 6 tires for flap and tube?
