Timing light adapter ?

There are companies that sell an adapter that clamps to an injector line. They have a piezoelectric transducer. When it senses a surge in the line, it will trigger your conventional timing light. About $69 ? on line.

Timing is critical on diesels. Doesn't your pump have any adjustment slots? 1/8" makes a world of difference on my 6.2 GM. Try twisting pump?
