I am sure Taffy would be thrilled if she could understand all your planning to give her a ride, it would probably bring tears to her eyes, knowing how much you love her. I, like you, would do anything for my 2 boys, they are the 'Most Important' thing I have in this world. They are in perfect health, but as they approach 10 years old, I worry more for them. If they sneeze, cough or even act funny, I am all over them checking them out. That terrible, dreadful time will come in their life also some day. I hope I can do something as your doing for Taffy, for them also.
