Ford cowl lights same as FFPW ?

I want to put new lens ,reflectors, etc in my cowl light buckets.On an old forum it was noted that early Ford cowl lights were the same as Dodge trucks(at least 41-47). Seems like 32 Ford lights were a match. Is this right and what year Ford? Cheapest parts source?
