Rubber thing question: 1954 FFPW

I have the rubber mat thing that covers the gearshift/transfer handles/E-brake opening. I am ready to install it, however it does not have a slot for the winch handle.

Can someone with a stock mat tell me the shape of the opening that I need to cut to accommodate the winch handle?

Does it have a circular cut-out at each end like the other slots?

What hardware is used to fasten it to the transmission cover?
