This is a continuation to the Hard To Start message below. After a day of sitting in a parking lot, I was able to Start the M37 and drive it home. I had even for gotten to reinsert the number 1 spark wire and it started and got me the 3 miles home.
I changed the condensor, points and coil. I regapped an cleaned the plugs. I do not have a 24V timing light so I move the engine to the static 2 degress ATDC mark, gaped the points to .020. The engine now will not start. What advice do you have?
Should I have set the .20 at the highest point of the cam? Should I adjust the points to break at TDC, to break earlier than the spec?
