what changes between a 2500 and a 3500 ???

I know the spring rate changes but what else ? i have not figured out if the 2500 deisels came with a dana 60 or a dana 44 , same with the rear. I went to my dealer and he was not too sure about what was upgraded besides the srings. Yes this is what I am looking to stuff into the carryall. Jury is still out on the motor.
