That is one great looking Power Wagon!
The guy explained it to me as:
We don't know what kind of shape the axles are in. To get into them and start refurbishing them will run into a lot of money. Disk brakes up front will need to be totally replaced.
Also the width on the axles appears to be off, I guess causing further complications. He thinks the rear is from a Ford and the front is from a Chevy.
I'm trying to stay in a $3000 budget and I guess he thought it could be double that once he got into it.
The truck has never been restored. The frame to me doesn't seem too bad - some surface rust, nothing too bad. some through rust under the battery and in the floors. Some small through rust at the top of the cab. Steering not original and busted. Brakes need redoing.
Very little rust otherwise though. Feels worth restoring to me.
