Town Wagon Transmission Question

I have a '63 Town Wagon with a 318 and a 3 speed column shift transmission.

Will a 4 speed from a 6 cylinder TW bolt up to the 318 or do I need a new bell housing as well?

Any other pitfalls or issues?
