I have never actually bedded the glass, I have a glass shop do that. However for the outside gasket, use a solution of soapy water to lube the gasket and channel it must snap in. Go slow, I have a piece of rounded plastic that I use to work it in the channel. SOmetimes it goes right in, other times its a Bear.
