I have a set of Victors that I bought used about 6 years ago. Best investment I ever made.... Seeing I am a scrap man, my torches get used quite often. I have a Cutting torch, Welding torch, and a tip for heating as well. I havent used the Welding torch in about 4 years tho. My neighbor uses Harris torches and he is quite happy with them. I would seriously consider sticking with Victor or Harris. If you plan to do lots of cutting and or heating, buy a Propane tip for your torch and start using propane. I get a 100 LB propane tank filled for $42 here locally and it will last me just over a year...Heck with the cutting I do, Id go thru a tank of Acetelene in a weekend. Also the oxygen lasts longer on propane as well. Propane does not burn as hot as Acetelene, but it gets the job done fine.
Power Wagon Content: My Victors will get lots of use on my WDX Power Wagon by heating rusty bolts to break them loose, Cut bolts and will probably ride in the truck on occasion en-route to a side job...
