I got quotes to repaint my wifes 9 year old BMW. Besides being faded there are no dents to be repaired and no scratches in the finish. That and the car was going to be repainted back the same color.

The lowest price I was quoted was $4,000. the highest was north of $6,000.

At those prices she's going to have to continue driving it, faded paint or no paint.
