MU-2 winch

Hey guys, I'm about to drill holes in my angle iron for the winch mounts and I wondered if there should be a thrust washer between the cable drum and the cable drum bracket? The exploded view of the winch shows no thrust washer on that side, but I thinks there should be one, anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance, and I can't wait to see you guys in Lee! and Tim H. have you got an extra manual I can buy??
