Good evening folks. This just goes to show you how a memory fades over just a few years. I am currently doing quite a bit of work to an old car my Mom has as a summertime toy. It is a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Station wagon. It has a slant six in it and I am doing a tune up on it. I have not tuned up an older style slant six in over 5 years.... My question is, seeing those metal tube things that go into the head that the sparkplug holds in, when I change the plugs in the car, do I have to use the sealing washers that came with the plugs? or do these tubes act as the sealing washers? I used to know the in's-and-out's of these old leaning towers of power, but I cannot remember for the life of me. Thanks for the answer.
