I had completed all my plans to drive over 2000 miles each way to attend the Maine Rally. Originally, I planned to attend the Vermont Rally, then visit some folks and sights in the area, and finally, I would attend the Maine Rally.
Scratch Vermont. Next, scratch Maine. Yesterday, I cancelled my motel reservations in Maine. I haven't cancelled the visits to friends and family - yet.
Now it looks like there is going to be a Massachusetts Rally. Maps and aerial photos of the area suggest there should be some outstanding trails in the mountains just east of Lee. But from the comments, it seems that it will be little more than a picnic in someone's back yard.
Before I start remaking my plans to attend a POWER WAGON RALLY in the Northeast, I need someone to tell me what group activities and trail rides there will be. 2000 miles is too far to drive for a picnic.
I hope that Ken and Steve had all of you helping them. It would be truly sad to know that their efforts failed for lack of help.
