contemplating an engine swap

Hello,

I'm considering putting a poly 315 V8 into my 1958 W-100. It has the original flathead 230 in it now. The motor mount configuration seems to be similar for the two. Does anyone have experience with such a swap? Are my front springs (1300lbs/8leaf) the same as thosed used for original V8 installations?
