What's the tallest tire you've run on your W300 without trouble.

I would like to hear anyones ideas on the largest tire you can put on a W300 without running into clearence trouble?
I have a set of 16.5x12 that I would like to mount some tall tires on to run down the road but dont want to lift the body.
Any ideas?
