I know Seattle has'nt sent it's wildland fire team, and the Fire District I voulenteer for has'nt turned a wheel on it's mobile strike team. We have a bunch of young college kids who man the strike team rigs, travel around the state earning money for school.
I briefly read about the fire in the Seattle Times (page B2) today and there was no mention of any homes lost.
