Clutch be gone

Need some experience type advice. Clutch is going on the 56 C3 PW. Going up steep hills the engine rpm goes up and the speed goes down. Not much left of the old disc, I think. Anyway, got a Truck only show this Saturday and was thinking if I take it realllly easy could she go another 25 miles or so.
