My thanks go out to all the people that took the free junk I brought to the Rally.
We cautiously pulled out of the fairgrounds Saturday evening with only the Carryall loaded for the journey home and the trailer brakes turned up a couple notches. We didn't get very far out of Fairfield when I decided to unload and drive the Carryall home instead of haul it on the compromised bumper/hitch brackets My decision was primarily due to safety concerns, but party because I just wanted to drive it some more. I wadded some Kleenex in my ears, and away we went.
The Carryall ran great! Our average speed from the Missouri/Iowa line to Columbia was 60 mph. 140 miles of smooth highway was a picknic compared to that crazy moonlight trailride.
