hello, i need a little help. i picked up a 3/4 ton 8 lug dana 44 from a m880 that has full time hubs. anybody on here done a conversion to part time hubs?? i'm thinking that i can use the spindle/hubs/rotor from a 3/4 ton chevy axle but wanted to get some input.
also, i'm trying to tear down the axle to go through it and i can't get the outer nut off the axle shaft that will allow me to take the rotor off. i took the cotter pin out (before anybody asks) and don't see anything else that should be holding it up. i've tried heat, impact, cheater bar, and penetrating oil....anybody have any input??
