cylinder heads

I have a head from a 230 that does not have the coolant hole in it to match the hole from the pump face to the cylinder deck.This head does not come to the forward end of the block either to even cover up the coolant hole. The head gasket I got from VPW has the hole in it. What is this head from? What is an "extra hump" head?
