Door Alignment troubleshooting

Is there any procedure out there for troubleshooting door problems on a W100? The drivers door on Bear is becoming more and more hard to latch and I would like to "tune it up" before I break something. I am looking for lube procedures as well as alignment troubleshooting procedures.
