Chris is right, it does take the differant bell houseing and transmission from that era. Then you have to jimmyrig a clutch. The Memphis conversion was a modification so that you could keep the automatic in a selected gear without it jumping in and out of the differant gears. You have got to have a real good M-135 to start with and then love, dedication, and money to get the trans back to working condition. Do not even look at any trans out of a Cad ect, as they are not the same, this Hydramatic in the M-135 is a modification unto its self. I do have a working Memphis transmission just sitting here behind a motor sitting in the frame rails with the cab stripped off. If you are really serious, take a couple of days, make the 8 hour trip down and I will make you one heck of a deal for disasembling this stuff your self. Buy me a $700.00 cannon barrel bring it down and I will swap you straight across. Tom
