No Sparky spark, WC63

turns over stong, as can be,,,, but no spark at the plugs,,, doesnt have the original motor,,, so stamping on the block.
Put new cap, (well the one i got was not correct) rotor, wires plugs,,, and tested the coli,, well sorta? ands i hot wires the switch wires on...(put together, bypassed the switch,,, I think its the coil,,, And i have never heard this one run,,, first attempt.. any help... my electrical Eng, friend ,,, was helping and stumped him,, ?? jc
