Transmisstion question???

I was checking out the transmisstion in the 46 PW and notice that it's really sloppy and also checked out the one in the 53 parts truck and that one is really tight shifting.

? Can I take the 53 trans # C-38711 AL 1 Dated 1-15-52 and put in the 46. Trans # C38126 A1, Dated: 8-10-45.

If so is the 53 trans a synchro trans?

OTM couldn't find it in the "home page".
