I was repairing (read "hitting with a big hammer") my road rail trailer and one of the bearing blocks on the front rail axle fell apart - presumably the casting section was already cracked (OK it was me with the hammer but don't think I'm going to admit to it...)
I can order one from the trailer manufacturer and pay retail, of course, but I was surprised to see the bearing block had DODGE cast onto it. The shaft is 2 1/4" and the centre between the mounting slots is roughly 7", so anyone here have them or know where I can get them without breaking the bank? I need one but would probably buy a pair in case anything unfortunate happens to it when reassembling it. What relationship, if any does this DODGE block have to our Dodge trucks then?
