I have a 406 Unimog with the auxilary set of "creeper" gears and the the auxilary set of "crawler" gears. Low gear is .046 Miles per hour. If you don't have your calculator that is 242.9 feet per hour. That's at full throttle. I haven't yet figured out what it does at an idle. I think that is way slower than the minute hand on a watch. This was how the German engineers solved the problem of the need for infinate slow speed before the days of the hydrostatic drive.
