Can this rim be saved?

One of the Combat Rims I cleaned up has a crack between the center and one of the lug holes. See photo. Does anyone know if I can simply MIG weld it and grind flush, or are these a hardened/tempered steel that welding would hurt the metallurgy on? The wheel is an extra that I don’t really have to save, it just seems a shame to bin an otherwise good Combat Rim.
