I have built an auxillary stainless steel gas tank for the PW. There is currently no means for a vent. One person suggested drilling a 1/16" hole in the gas cap to allow air in as the gas is drawn out. The cap is a stainless steel pipe cap with rods welded to the sides to grasp. This would work but it seems like it would slosh and weep, plus possibly allow water to get in. My thought is to install a vent from a differential onto the top of the gas cap. Anyone have any thoughts as to whether this would work?
Thanks,
Tim
