Terry, I used a product called qurox that is a rust stopper(on the line of POR15). I really like the stuff. It is the consistency of milk ans applies with a brush I think it may be a little hard to find though. My friend who owns a body shop has a relative that is a rep, that is how I found out about it.I had to buy 1/2 case of quarts(6). I have used it under body work and to stop rust in cracks (door skin edges) and have applied prime,base, clear finish and it has held very well. If you cant find it locally, or on the net, contact me, I surf the forum daily, could probably spare a qt. I have to see how much I have left. I think it was about 25.00 a qt,not cheep, but it goes a long way. I did my whole f-250 frame with about 1 qt.
