6 volt postive ground ?

Just trying to verify 1950 FFPW B1, I know was 6 volt, but positive or negative ground ? The 50 B1 I just took delivery on is set up as a positive ground.
This could possibly throw a kink in my plans on adding a Denman ovedrive. I was planning on adding a 12 volt battery just for the overdrive, but its a negative ground set up. Suggestion ? comments ?
